Can I actually bleach the colour of my hair to make my hair colour look lighter?

The colour of my hair is dark brown in colour.I wanted the brown to be a little lighter and obvious. Is there any way ( besides dyeing it) like bleach it off a little? Or there's a specific shampoo that bleaches your hair colour?Can I actually bleach the colour of my hair to make my hair colour look lighter?
Sounds crazy but wash your hair in lemon juice. It's a natural bleach and won't hurt your hair, it actually helps the shine. It'll just make your hair lighter and if you sit out in the sun a lot it'll work even better.

No. Messing with dyes and bleaches can cause more damage to your hair and scalp costing your parents thousands of dollars to repair the damage. Go see a hair dresser/stylist and have that person do what you want. It will be done right for less money than you think. Besides, it will look professional.





I have seen some of the ';home hair styles'; and believe nothing TURNS OFF a guy more than to see a CHEAP job on anyone. So if you want to look attractive, spend the money. If you DON'T CARE about your looks then go bleach it. If it doesn't work, who cares! Obviously you don't.





Get my drift? Don't mess with the monkeys unless you're a trained specialist. Don't mess with your hair color unless you're a hair stylist.
in the summer putting peroxide in your hair and laying out in the sun lightens your hair.............It works! Or there are products on the market called sun-in its in a spray bottle and is inexpensive that ya spray in your hair after you shampoo and the heat from the blow dryer helps lighten it too! i use both products and both have worked!
