What age do people start to get over small things like hair colour?

I have ginger hair, and everyone my age (15) seems to find it the most unattractive thing a person can have.

When does this immaturity stop, i've gotten over it and i know they will to, as people my mums age are always very envious of my hair and actually compliment it.

I just wanted to know how long i have to wait for all the teasing and jokes to stop,

thanks :)What age do people start to get over small things like hair colour?
i have ginger hair as well so i know what it feels like! trust me! i'm 17 now though and people don't tease me about it anymore! there are plenty of beautiful people who are ginger: think of lindsay lohan (especially when she was in ';the parent trap';), geri halliwell etc.

i don't know why people seem to perceive ginger as being so unattractive - it's just a phase of people being immature and they will stop one day - i promise! eventually the joke gets boring and people realise that it was never particularly 'funny'.

whenever people used to tease me about being ginger i would say 'oh really? i hadn't noticed!' or 'i know what a mirror is. i look in one every day. so i DO know what colour my hair is - i'm not blind!' and that seemed to make them stop!

so hopefully by the time you're 17 people will have grown up a bit more!

hope this helps! What age do people start to get over small things like hair colour?
I'm not sure exactly what age the teasing will stop, but think about how old your mom is. You shouldn't let the teasing get to you. I know a lot of people with hair that's ginger and they haven't gotten teased. I've actually attempted to dye my hair that color (my hair was too dark and it didn't work out). If you feel that self conscious about your hair color you should just dye it.
That kind of behavior usually stops when you graduate high school. College should be fine.
