What happens if i keep the remaning hair colour mixture?

Ok so what happens if i keep the remaining hair colour mixture in the bottle for a day? i wanna do a strand test and obviously i dont wanna throw the rest of the colour so can i keep the remaining mixture for like a day? if not, how long?What happens if i keep the remaning hair colour mixture?
most hair color mixtures lose potency after about an hour.... not to mention if you keep it for a day, the mixture would dry up- and not be able to be used....





what i would do is take a little bit of both the color and the creme activator and mix it up to put use for a strand test.

it well loss it's power. so what you get today you may not get the same tomorrow. the color oxidizes. that is why it changes color in the bottle. no, longer then an hour or two. been doing for 13years
