I have seen it before, and I have often wondered why they would not share hair colour with either parents?
Would there be a change in hair colour over time due to age? Or could weather have an affect?Why do some people not share hair colour with their birth parents?
It is all in the genes. Many times you can get a color that an ancestor of yours had. You are made up of all of your ancestors. For some reason one of their traits will be dominant in you. It could be from many generations back.Why do some people not share hair colour with their birth parents?
It's genetics...and without getting all into it, my husband and I both have dark brown hair. Two of our kids have light brown hair, one had blonde hair. We have brown and hazel eyes...we have two green eyed kids and one with very dark brown eyes. We carry the genes for various traits...and when those genes match up, it creates a different color than what we have. LOTS of people have different hair color than their parents.
Ha. This happened to me. I have Strawberry Blonde hair, with greenish eyes, my mother has Brown hair with brown eyes, and my father has Dirty Blonde hair with blue eyes. Haha. Anyways, I know in my family, it is just the way it happened. I, we assume, take after my aunt. She is the only redhead in our family, so. Sometime it just happens due to family lineage. (:
Hope this helps!
Something to do with recessive and dominant genes...you can figure it out using a Punnet square...
B=brown hair
b=blonde hair
Both parents are Bb, meaning the brown hair is dominant...however, when they have kids, it is possible that the genes can be bb and that kid will be blonde.
ok its all about this word thta ii forget. i learned about it in math ( yea ik its a science thing but w.e ). say thier dads and moms hair are both blonde. the brunette jean is stronger so they could be that. or thier parents died thier hair. or it skips a generation. many things- all about ( i remmebered the word :) :) ) genetics.
