How do I go back to my original hair colour?

I had medium golden brown hair and got highlights. I was hoping they would turn out blonde but they turned out yellowish and orange. What colour should I dye it to go back to my original colour?How do I go back to my original hair colour?
You'll have to go back to the salon and ask to get low lights over the highlights. They are the opposite of highlights and ask for them to be as close as possible to the color of your roots. Then just simply let your hair grow out making sure to trim at least one inch every other month.





What may have happened is that they only bleached your hair in order to get the high lights but they didn't add a toner. A toner is color and it helps to seal the cuticle of your hair so that it wont look dry/damaged or orange. The toner is usually applied to damp hair after the bleach is washed out and it is only left in for a few minutes.





You can also go back to the salon and ask them to tone down the highlights and to make sure that they look blonde not orange. A good hair stlylist will know how to accomplish that, if not just ask for the low lights. Good Luck!How do I go back to my original hair colour?
