What is the best hair colour for streaking on a brunette?

I'm a brunette and I have short hair. I would love to streak my hair again but what type of blonde is best and if I try red what type of red is best . My hair is closer to black so im curious?What is the best hair colour for streaking on a brunette?
go an ice blonde its that really light blonde thats wat i have in my hair!! as for the red dnt do it. coz ur hair is dark u will have to make blonde streaks first and then dye it red but wen u start washing ur hair the red will wash out and it will become a lighter colour like pink or orange and it doenst look goodWhat is the best hair colour for streaking on a brunette?
if your close to a level 1 or 2 black,, then if you where in my chair i would try to help you pick a color in the Carmel family with some Cinnamon in there also,, do a halo around so it would look more natural with multi dimension
try a caramel color
dye ur hair dark auburn with lighter copper streaks. trust me, it looks awesome- retro, punk, n sassy at the same time.
Go to the salon and tell them you want highlights AND Lowlights, trust me, I've done it before and have never been so pleased with my hair, It's just come out so natural and classy looking instead of trying to do it yourself..
i would go with red. blonde is so overdone.

If your hair is darker, I would say probably red. A good red dye is the colour rays in red [made by loreal]. Buy a cap, however, because the wand never really works.





If your hair is lighter [and I know its not] Go more blonde. My favorite blonde hi-lighting kit is frost and glow [made by revlon]. It comes in a bunch of blondes and I love it!





And as the person before me said...Caramel is always a great color, no matter how dark or light your hair is.
youshould start with soft caramel highlights. if you want them lighter...go lighter.
