What new hair colour would be right for me?

I want a new hair colour and cut. At the minute I have a mousy brown hair colour and quite dark brown eyes with a heart-shaped face (quite a wide forehead). Any ideas as to what colour I should dye my hair and any new style cuts I should go for? I would ideally like to keep it a medium length style.What new hair colour would be right for me?

Ok, I would start off with blonde hightlights. Also if you have a wide forehead you might want to try bangs to kind of cover that up a little. Tyra Banks also has this problem of a wide forehead. No biggie tho, I would try layers around your face and neck. Hope this helps! It's always hard finding that perfect hairstyle!
From a males perspective, I would suggest Jet Black. It goes well with a heart shaped face and suggests mysterious. Just DON'T go gothic. As far as the style, think French!
I think you should darken it up a bit, like a chocolate brown. If you like a hint of red, try a chestnut brown. Nice colors for the fall as well. Right now the ';bob'; is in, very cute. Try long bangs brushed to the side. Good luck.

maybe get a black lauered hair style it will make you look 10 times younder and your eyes will stand out alot
Why not just put some highlights in your own color...kind of just livens it up. Also, page boys have never gone out of style and are attractive and easy to do. Some bangs would cover the wide forehead, if that is bothering you.
I love Holly Madison's hair from Girls Next Door on E! network. She has very dark brown eyes and very light blond hair. She usually keeps it straight with a headband to separate her bangs from the rest of it.
I think you should get your hair cut in layers and If you have a taned skin tone you should do black and dark brown highlights

What abou a red nuance? I am a reddish (by nature) and I think it is a nice colour.

get your hair cut like honey from eastenders and dye it black
do undertones... it's the opposite of highlights. if not go to ur salon stylist. or if not pick whatever u like. go for it girl. it's only hair

This is from a male perspective--I think by your description that the kind of style where the front sides wrap around frontwards, a bit sixtiesh looking. Do you know of ';Twiggy'; the famous sixties model? Check her out on the web. I would go for a bronze or reddish colour depending on skin tone. The medium length is fine, but I'm not a hairstylist. (hope my girlfriend doesnt read this one Ha!) Good luck with it--I'm sure it will be beautiful!
